Kathmandu, June 27: The NEPSE index, which measures share trading in the stock market of Nepal, has increased to a high level today. According to the Nepal Stock Exchange, the NEPSE index rose by 56.94 points and reached 2,186.36.
The sensitive index, which measures the share turnover of large companies, rose by 13.44 points and reached 412.51. Out of the total 13 sub-groups that were traded, the share price of 10 sub-groups increased while the share price of three sub-groups fell today.
In terms of turnover, Swavalamban Micro-finance is at the top. Similarly, Shivam Cement, IGI Prudential Insurance, Himalayan Distillery were trading higher. They managed to enter the top five.
According to NEPSE, shares of 28 companies including Nirdhan Utthan Microfinance, Deprosc Microfinance, Himalayan Life Insurance, Nerude, Garima Bikas Microfinance have increased by 10 percent.
