Kathmandu, July 4: Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index, which has been down for two days at the beginning of this week, has increased by double digits today. In today’s business, NEPSE index increased by 12.73 points to 2088.70.
Today, 64,50,934 shares of 282 different companies were bought and sold.
Likewise, the sub-indices of all groups were also green. Hotel and tourism group increased by 133.34 points and non-life insurance group by 78.07 points. Banking group increased by 1.07, development bank by 31.05, finance by 35.34, hydropower by 3.16, investment by 0.99 and life insurance by 30.50 points.
Similarly, production and processing increased by 40.08, microfinance by 30.21, mutual funds by 0.02, trade by 15.81 and other groups by 15.81 points.
The share price of City Hotel has increased by 9.98 percent, while the share price of BPW Laghubitta Financial has entered a negative circuit today.
