NEPSE rose again, circuit break of nine companies

KATHMANDU: The NEPSE index has risen by a higher point today. According to the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), the trading volume of NEPSE increased by 71.43 points and reached 2,947.42.

Similarly, the Sensitive Index, which measures the trading volume of large companies, rose by 13.03 points to 548.29. A total of 171,333 shares of 231 companies were bought and sold. The total trade for today was Rs 9.44 billion.

Of the 13 subgroups traded, only the Samuhik Lagani Kosh declined by 0.05 points today. Banking 24.2, Trade 42, Hotel and Tourism 77.48, Development Bank 272.52, Hydropower 213.54, Finance 114.97, Non-Life Insurance 424.77, Manufacturing 299.69, Others 18.22, Microfinance 113.65 , Life insurance 297.71 and investment rose by 2.35 points.

Today, Arun Valley Hydropower Company was in the top position in terms of turnover. The company had a turnover of Rs. 737.78 million. United Modi had a turnover of Rs 451.117 million, Api Power Company Rs 315.164 million 236, National Hydropower Rs 293.477 million and Upper Tamakoshi Hydropower Company Rs 257.21 million.

Circuits in shares of nine companies

According to NEPSE, shares of nine different companies have seen a positive circuit today. Shares of National Hydropower, Rastriya Beema Company, First Microfinance, Api Power Company, Arun Kabeli Power, Chhayangdi Hydropower, Panchthar Power Company, Liberty Energy Company and Sanima Life Insurance Company rose by 10 percent.

After today’s trading, the market capitalization has reached Rs. 412.28 billion.
