New release dates of three Nepali films, Ma Yesto Geet Gaauchhu 2, Lappan Chappan 2 and Ye Mero Hajur 4 have been announced.
Ma Yesto Geet Gaauchhu 2 will be released on February 25 while Lappan Chappan 2 will be released on March 4.
Sudarshan Thapa has directed Ma Yesto Geet Gaauchhu 2. Paul Shah and Pooja Sharma have done the lead role in this movie. It was lined for a pre-pandemic release on March 13, 2020.
Its release was rescheduled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Even this year, the film was to be screened from February 2. However, both release dates were postponed owing to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Likewise, the release date of the film Lappan Chappan 2 has been rescheduled for March 4 from the earlier release date of February 25.
According to the film production unit, the release date of Lappan Chappan 2 has been postponed after the Nepal Film Association has decided to release Sudarshan Thapa directed film Ma Yesto Geet Gaauchhu 2 on this date.
The release date of the film directed by Mukunda Bhatt was also postponed twice due to the two waves of coronavirus.
Saugat Malla, Anup Vikram Shahi, and Arpan Thapa have done the lead roles in Lappan Chhappan 2. The action-packed film was shot in various locations in Europe.
Likewise, the release date of Ye Mero Hajur 4 of Anomol KC and Suhana Thapa has also been fixed for April 14. It is directed by Jharana Thapa.
