Kathmandu, April 30: The Nepal–India Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Nepal Business Institute have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly organise the Nepal Business Summit 2026, scheduled for May 18.
The agreement was signed by NICCI Vice President Kunal Kayal and NBI Executive Chairperson Bishal Gaire, who described the partnership as a key step toward strengthening Nepal’s business ecosystem.
According to NICCI, the summit will serve as a platform for dialogue and knowledge exchange, featuring panel discussions that connect policy with practice and ideas with implementation. The event aims to produce actionable recommendations aligned with international best practices.
Through this collaboration, both organisations plan to promote stronger domestic and international business engagement. The initiative also seeks to position Nepal as an attractive investment destination, particularly in light of its current political stability and strong parliamentary majority.
Representatives from both NICCI and NBI expressed confidence that the partnership will contribute meaningfully to Nepal’s long-term economic growth and investment climate. #Nepal
