KATHMANDU: Nepal Infrastructure Bank Limited has closed its IPO issue. With this, the biggest IPO issue in NEPSE’s history has successfully concluded. This issue was opened on January 15.
Out of the offered 80 million units; 0.20% of the total offered shares were set aside for the employees of the company and 5% for mutual funds. The remaining 75.84 million units were for the general public.
NIBL Ace Capital Limited is the issue manager for the IPO issuance and Citizen Investment Trust (CIT) is the underwriter. According to preliminary reports provided by the issue manager, in total 15,12,823 applicants have applied for 17,99,31,410 units in the IPO.
After the IPO issuance, the company’s paid-up capital will reach Rs. 20 billion from the existing Rs. 12 billion.
