No chance of party split: Gautam

TULSIPUR: Vice Chairman of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Bamdev Gautam has said that there will be no division in the party.

Interacting with the party cadres here in Tulsipur on Saturday, leader Gautam said that he was taking continuous initiative to solve some internal problems within the party. “I am not in any faction, I am always against the groupism,” he said. “I have emphasized party unity. The party will not split under any circumstances.”

He said that the problem has arisen now as some issues seen during party unity were not resolved at that time.

Vice-Chairman Gautam said that the two chairpersons of the party, KP Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda, would decide the agenda of the meeting and a meeting of the secretariat, standing committee and central committee would be held on the basis of the same agenda.

He claimed that having different views within the party would make the party more dynamic and strong.
