KATHMANDU, Nov 30: Senior leader of ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Jhala Nath Khanal has said that the party will not split under any circumstances. However, he acknoledged that there are differences within the party leadership on many issues.
“If someone is eagerly waiting to see the party split, and take advantage, it’s their mere dream,” he said while laying the foundation stone of a hospital in Fikkal, Suryoday Municipality, Ilam.
He said that the current discussion and debate of the NCP would prove to be false. “Especially a section of the media people have been spreading falsehoods and saying that the NCP will break up, but I tell you, the NCP will not break up.”
He urged the party cadres not to be afraid as the current debate is in favor of party unity. “We don’t have any clear policy and law to split the party at this moment.”
