Kathmandu, June 30: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has increased the price of petrol and diesel.
According to the new purchase price received from Indian Oil Corporation, petrol price has been increased by Rs.2 per liter and diesel by Rs.5 per liter.
According to the notice of the corporation, the new price of petroleum products will be implemented from Sunday midnight. The prices of aviation fuel and LP gas will remain unchanged.
Under the first category, the price of petrol in Charali, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Amlekhganj, Bhalwari, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi and Birgunj has been fixed at Rs 164.50 per liter while the price of diesel and kerosene has been fixed at Rs 154.50.
Likewise, the price of petrol in Surkhet and Dang has been fixed at Rs 166 per liter. The price of diesel and kerosene has remained at Rs 156. Under the third category, the price of petrol in Kathmandu, Pokhara and Dipayal has remained at Rs 167 per liter. The price of diesel and kerosene will be at Rs 157.
