Kathmandu, April 8: The executive chairmanship of the Non-Resident Nepalese Association (NRNA) has been handed over from one President to another.
The 10th convention of the NRNA held a year ago had elected three presidents for a multi-term system. Accordingly, NRNA President Rabina Thapa has completed the term of six months on Friday and handed over the duties to another President Dr Badri KC.
Earlier, President Kul Acharya had completed his six months term and handed over the responsibility to Thapa.
The 11th convention of the NRNA is scheduled to be held with Dr KC in charge for the coming six months.
Founded in 2003, the NRNA has been working through national coordination councils in 86 countries around the world.
