One held for loan default



Kathmandu, June 3: Police have arrested Chairman of Ram Janaki Health Foundation and Proprietor of the Institute of Agriculture Forest and Veterinary Science, Om Prakash Pande on the charge of loan default.

The Central Police Newsroom shared that Pande, a resident of Ratopul, Kathmandu was arrested from Ramdaiya of Chhireshwornath Municipality of Dhanusha. He was held for enterprise fraud-creating fake businesses and taking loans repeatedly.

An arrest warrant was issued against him from Patan High Court, Lalitpur under Banking Crime and Punishment Act, 2007, seven months back.
