A meeting presided over by Committee Chairperson Sonam Gyalgen Sherpa ordered the government to seize the weapons looted from the security personnel during the Gen-Z protests and bring back the jailbirds who fled the prisons and uplift the morale of the security personnel.

The Committee discussed with Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal regarding the preparations and security situation for the upcoming HoR elections scheduled for March 5, 2026.

On the occasion, the Committee members stressed the need to hold the elections on time by maintaining law and order in the country.
