Kathmandu, July 28: The Parliamentary Hearing Committee is holding a meeting today.
The meeting scheduled for this morning is conducting a hearing on the proposed names as election commissioners- Guru Prasad Wagle (Okhaldhunga) and Dr Rajiv Subba (Kathmandu).
Earlier, the Constitutional Council had recommended Man Bahadur Karki as the chief election commissioner and Wagle and Subba as the commissioner on July 3.
As per constitution, the President will appoint the recommended persons in the respective posts after the parliamentary hearing is conducted.
The Parliamentary Hearing Committee had sought complaints if any against the recommended names. #nepal #rss
