Kathmandu, March 10: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has directed the officials to work in line with the common minimum programme of the government to be prepared in the changed political context.
In a half-yearly review meeting of the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers on Sunday, the PM asked the officials to work as per the common minimum programme by being more dynamic.
“The policy and programme to be unveiled in the changed political context shall be the guideline for our office, all its line agencies and the entire bureaucracy,” the PM said adding that the new common minimum programme will be released soon. “Officials should discharge their duty accordingly,” according to the PM.
On the occasion, PM Prachanda said that the work execution of the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers and line agencies should be reviewed on a monthly basis and attention should be given by identifying the challenges.
Likewise, the PM asked the officials to move ahead by marking routine to ensure results of the national pride projects.
PM Dahal argued that the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers should stand as a model office for the entire bureaucracy and added that the existing progress was not satisfying. “The given target should be completed in given deadline. For this to happen, this office should play a leading role,” the PM said while instructing the secretaries and divisional chiefs to remain more active.
The PM directed the officials of the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers and its line agencies to achieve at least 80 per cent of the target by the end of the fiscal year.
Likewise, the PM urged the officials to get ready for the next fiscal year since the government was preparing for the upcoming fiscal year’s budget, policy and programme. #Nepal
