PM Deuba administers oath to the Chair of the Land Commission

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has administered the oath of office and secrecy to National Land Commission Chair Keshav Niraula.

He was administered the oath of office by Prime Minister Deuba at a function held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, Singha Durbar on Wednesday.

On the same occasion, Chair Niraula administered the oath of office and secrecy to the Vice-Chairman of the Commission, Minendra Khadka, said Badri Tiwari, Private Secretary to the Prime Minister.

After the swearing in, Prime Minister Deuba congratulated the officials of the commission with the expectation of resolving the land related issues in a written and systematic manner.

The cabinet meeting on Tuesday decided to form the commission and appoint Niraula as the chair and Khadka as the vice-chair.
