KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has directed the Health Ministry to increase number of vaccination centres for common people’s easy access to vaccines against COVID-19.
Following the people’s complaints of long line at vaccination centres in the Kathmandu Valley, PM Deuba called Chief Secretary Shankar Das Bairagi and Secretary at Ministry of Health and Population, Laxman Aryal, and directed them to ensure citizen’s easy access to anti-COVID vaccine.
They were also directed to make arrangement for the people so that they could adopt adequate health and safety measures.
Immediately after assuming the office, Cabinet meeting chaired by PM Deuba had decided to manage anti-COVID vaccines to all qualified citizens by coming April.
