Dadeldhura : Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba today registered his candidacy nomination for the House of Representatives poll from Dadeldhura constituency.
PM Deuba’s spouse Dr Arju Rana Deuba as his representative registered his candidacy nomination at the office of chief returning officer, Dadeldhura, said the chief returning officer Bal Krishna Wagle.
NC senior leader Poudel registers HoR candidacy from Tanahu constituency -1
Nepali Congress senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel has registered his candidacy for the election to the member of the House of Representatives (HoR) from Tanahu constituency no 1. Leader Poudel reached the Office of the Chief Election Officer to file his nomination papers under the first-past-the-post election system. The HoR and Province Assembly election is taking place on November 20.
Talking to the media persons after registering his candidacy, leader Poudel said he filed his candidacy for the country and the people. He said he is in politics so far for the protection of democracy and the constitution.
The NC senior leader said, “My candidacy is for establishing the basis for a politics of discipline and integrity. There is a need for a leadership with moral power that can give good governance to the nation, and my candidacy is in line with this.”
He added that this election will play a significant role for the overall development of the country and establishment of a stable government.
