Kathmandu, Sept 22: Police have arrested the former Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Nepal Police, Chhabi Lal Joshi.
Police Spokesperson and Deputy Inspector General of Police, Dan Bahadur Karki, informed that Joshi was arrested from Kathmandu on Sunday.
Joshi was arrested to enquire him about Suryadarshan Cooperatives and other related issues.
Meanwhile, arrested Joshi is being ferried to Pokhara. He will be produced before the court on Monday. He was also the founder of the Gorkha Media Network, which siphoned millions of rupees from different cooperatives including Suryadarshan. #crime #cooperatives #nepal #
