Kathmandu, Oct 20: The Westerly wind has partial influence in Nepal at present and the weather is partly cloudy in the hilly region and generally fair in the rest of the country, the Meteorological Forecasting Division said.
Meteorologist Shanti Kandel said it will be partly to generally cloudy in the hilly region and generally fair in the rest of the country in the afternoon today. She added that although there are chances of light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning t one or two places of the hilly region of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, the weather will be fair in the rest of the places.
The maximum temperature in Kathmandu will likely remain between 24 degrees Celsius and 26 degrees Celsius.
