Preparations to end the National Assembly session

KATHMANDU: The government is preparing to end the session of the National Assembly as its criticism grows.

The National Assembly, which has not received any “business” from the government, has been focusing more on criticism and defense of the government.

For the first time since the start of the winter session, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is set to address the National Assembly today. After the Prime Minister’s address, the convention will end today.

A meeting of the Council of Ministers held at the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar today has recommended to the President to end the session of the National Assembly.

The session of the National Assembly started on January 1.
