KATHMANDU, Dec 20: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has dissolved the Federal Parliament and announced for the new date for election.
On Sunday morning, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli presented a proposal to dissolve House.
According to a notice issued by the President’s Office, the election to the House of Representatives will be held in two phases on April 30 and May 10 next year.

The notice says that the President carried out the dissolution of Parliament in accordance with the provision of Article 76(1), (7) and Article 85 of the Constitution, including the parliamentary system and norms of democracy.
