She said she hopes this type of festivals would help promote ethnic, lingual, cultural and geographical ties among the Nepalis by cultivating the feelings of goodwill, tolerance and mutual cooperation among them. “I hope the festival will eventually contribute to further consolidate the national integrity. ”
