President Bhandari visiting Jaleshwornath Temple on Monday

JALESHWOR: President Bidya Devi Bhandari will be arriving here tomorrow, Monday to pay homage to the Baba Jaleshwornath Mahadev at Jaleshwor, the district headquarters of Mahottari.

With the news about the Head-of-State’s scheduled visit here, the Jaleshwor folks seem eager to welcome her here.

The Jaleshwor Municipality has built welcome gates at different locations of the town and the temple has been decorated on the eve of the President’s visit.

According to mayor Ram Shanker Mishra, special preparations are going on to facilitate the President during the visit.

Jaleshwor Chamber of Commerce and Industry general secretary Shiva Chandra Chaudhary, there is a programme of offering civic felicitation and a token of love to the President on behalf of the people of Jaleshwor during her visit to this historic city.

Required preparations have been made for the President’s puja rituals at the temple.

A special task force has been there to take the responsibilities of security arrangements in view of the VVIP visit to the town, said Chief District Officer Basudev Dahal.

The temple of Jaleshwornath (one of the forms of Lord Shiva) is unique remains under water all time.
