KATHMANDU: The President, the Prime Minister and the Speaker of the House of Representatives (HoR) have submitted their separate written responses to the Supreme Court (SC) about the reasons for the HoR dissolution.
The written responses were registered at the SC on Sunday through the Office of the Attorney General.
SC’s Spokesperson Bhadrakali Pokhrel said that the written responses from the opponents about the reasons for the HoR dissolution have been registered. “But, it is yet to study the contents of the responses. The written responses cannot be made public from the court today,” Pokhrel said.
The constitutional bench of Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher JBR and Justices Hari Krishna Karki, Bishwambhar Prasad Shrestha, Anil Kumar Sinha and Tej Bahadur KC on December 25, 2020 had ordered to furnish the written responses through the Office of the Attorney General on the HoR dissolution within Sunday.
