Price of aviation fuel slashed for Bhairahawa and Pokhara Airports

Kathmandu, Oct 9: The Nepal Oil Corporation has reduced the price of aviation fuel used in international flights from Bhairahawa-based Gautam Buddha International Airport and Pokhara International Airport.

The NCA Board of directors meeting today decided to reduce the price of aviation fuel sold from Bhairahawa and Pokhara air fuel depots by USD 91 and USD 76 per kiloliter respectively. The new price comes into effect from this midnight.

Earlier, the price of aviation fuel for international flights from Bhairahawa and Pokhara aviation fuel depots was priced USD 860 per kiloliter. With the decrease in price, the price of jet fuel at the depot in Bhairahawa has become 769 US dollars per kiloliter and 784 US dollars per kiloliter at the depot in Pokhara.

According to the corporation, the price of fuel for international flights from those two airports has been reduced to implement the “Complete Improvement of Nepal’s Civil Aviation Sector and Action Plan for the Operation of Gautam Buddha International Airport and Pokhara International Airport” approved by the Council of Ministers. #fuelprice #nepal
