Prime Minister Dahal leaves for Dubai to attend COP-28 Summit



Kathmandu, Nov 29: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has left for Dubai, United Arab Emirates Wednesday evening, leading the Nepali delegation to participate in the 28th Conference of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP-28).

Speaker of the House of Representatives Devraj Ghimire, Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Purna Bahadur Khadka, Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Narayankaji Shrestha and other ministers and leaders bid farewell to the Prime Minister.

COP-28 will be held in Dubai from November 30 to December 2.

Prime Minister’s daughter Ganga Dahal, National Planning Commission member Prabhu Budhathoki, Finance Ministry Secretary Krishnahari Pushkar, Prime Minister’s Office Secretary Ek Narayan Aryal, Forest Ministry Secretary Deepak Kumar Kharel are participating in the delegation led by Prime Minister Dahal.

In the delegation, Sewa Lamsal, Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Prime Minister’s Private Secretary Ramesh Malla, Chief of Protocol Dilip Kumar Paudel, Praveen Bhattarai, Prime Minister’s Environment Adviser Dr. Popular Gentle are also included.

Prime Minister Dahal is scheduled to return home on December 3.
