Prime Minister Prachanda and Deuba meet in Baluwatar



Kathmandu, March 27: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba have met to finalize about the cabinet reshuffle.

After the Prime Minister Dahal has taken vote of confidence from Parliament and the Presidential election, both leaders have been trying to materialise the other issues like government expansion, provincial governments and appointment of key officials, including Chief Justice.

People and opposition parties have begun to question after long delay in cabinet expansion, and government service delivery.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Dahal and House Speaker Devraj Ghimire held a meeting on the measures to make the parliamentary functions further effective. At a meeting held at Prime Minister’s official residence, Baluwatar, this morning, PM Dahal and Speaker Ghimire discussed on swiftly advancing some crucial bills.

According to PM secretariat, the meeting focused on the agenda of making parliamentary functions further effective and pro-people. On the occasion, the two leaders also discussed on advancing the bill related to transitional justice and other bills related to implementation of federalism and amendment to some bills, it was informed.
