KATHMANDU, Dec 11: Bishworaj Pokhrel who was promoted to the Additional Inspector General of Nepal Police has been conferred on the rank of insignia.
Inspector General of Nepal Police Shailesh Thapa Chhetri on Friday conferred the insignia on Pokhrel as per the Cabinet decision made on Thursday.
On the occasion, IG Thapa Chhetri directed AIG Pokhrel to work with new vigor and responsibility.
For the strengthening and development of organization, a new work plan was necessary, Thapa Chhetri added.
Similarly, AIG Pokhrel expressed the belief that he reached the present post, gaining confidence of the government and police organization.
He made commitment that he would carry out his duty in line with the trust the government and organization have on him.
