Relief support to fire victims of Chimti



Fire damages houses in Saptari, 2024.

Rajbiraj, May 4: Various social organizations including the Nepal Muslim Social Service, have provided relief support to the fire victims of Chimti in Mahadeva Rural Municipality-1.

Relief materials including utensils were provided to 62 fire-affected families of Chimti tole, said vice president of Nepal Muslim Social Service Saptari, Afroz Alam.

Likewise, the Nepal-India Friendship Association has provided 10 kilos of rice, two kilos of lentils and salt, one kilo of sugar, clothings and mosquito net to the fire survivors.

Meanwhile, the Saptari Youth Nepal and Noor Welfare Society have been provided daily meals to the fire victims.

In the fire incident that took place on Tuesday, 114 houses of 62 families in Chimti were burnt to ashes.
