Kathmandu. Nine people have been killed in a bus accident near Khodpe in Baitadi district.
Another 34 people were injured in the accident. It is learned that the bus (Na 5 Kha 5141) heading to Mahendranagar from Ganna in the border area of Baitadi and Darchula districts fell from the cliff of Khodpe at around 9.30 pm on Thursday night.
Those injured in the accident are undergoing treatment at Dadeldhura.
The condition of the seven injured is critical and they have been shifted to Dhangadhi for further treatment while the other injured are undergoing treatment at Dadeldhura Hospital, according to the District Police Office, Baitadi.
