Nepal Orthopaedic Hospital (NOH) was established in the premises of the Nepal Disabled Association (NDA) at the Khagendra New Life Centre in Jorpati in Kathmandu in August 1998.Its sole intention has been to provide quality orthopaedic care, at an affordable price, of which most Nepalese have been deprived.

Nepal Orthopaedic Hospital was established to ensure and fulfill the need for quality orthopaedic care to the people of this country with the 100 beds. Affordability and accessibility in health care is important aspects in health care delivery. Majority of people of Nepal are poor having low living standards with less paying capacity. Realizing the fact through the tireless efforts of various individuals and organizations, this dream of opening an affordable orthopaedic center, which provides quality service for Nepalese, was conceived and achieved.

Continued progress of the hospital is reflected by the growing number of patients and their trust in us. With the OPD, IPD and the number of surgeries soaring record high in 2016. The hospital has been self-sustained since few years. The tireless and relentless efforts put by NOH Staffs is the key in making this hospital a vibrant place to work.
