RPP leader Rajendra Lingden airlifted to KTM

KATHMANDU, Dec 10: Former General Secretary of Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) and Member of Parliament Rajendra Lingden was airlifted to Kathmandu after he fell seriously ill to pneumonia.

He had been admitted to the ICU of B&C Hospital in Birtamode after being diagnosed with pneumonia.

However, he was taken to the capital on a Nepali Army air ambulance this evening after his oxygen level showed a steady decline, party’s district secretary Keshav Ojha said.

A PCR test for Corona Virus showed negative. Lingden has been taken to Kathmandu Medicity Hospital, Ojha said.
