Sarlahi, March 14: A total of Rs 27.6 million has been collected from Mahayagya (a religious programme) organized at Hariwan municipality in Sarlahi district.
The Mahayagya was organized from March 6-13 with an objective of constructing a building of Manav Sewa Ashram at Hariwan municipality-9. According to Coordinator of Mahayagya Main Organising Committee, Madhav Thapa, Rs 4.2 million was collected on Thursday alone.
He added that Rs 110 million is needed to complete the building and construction activities of the building have been obstructed due to budget crunch.
Earlier, the Ashram had also organized Mahayagya at Hariwan-11 to collect amount for the same. A total of 60 helpless people have now been taking shelter in the Ashram.#nepal #rss
