RSP decides to cast vote for Poudel, RPP remains neutral



Kathmandu, March 9: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has decided to vote for Ramchandra Poudel, the common candidate of the nine-party ruling coalition in the presidential election.

The RSP meeting held today decided to vote for Poudel as the president.

RSP has 19 MPs in the House of Representatives.

But the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), which is considered a ally of the CPN-UML, has decided to stay neutral. Similarly, Nepal Peasants and Worker’s Party (NWPP) will also remain absent in the election.
