RSP shocked and saddened over Al Ahli Hospital attack

Kathmandu, Oct 20: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has said that the party was deeply saddened and shocked by the loss of lives at Al Ahli Hospital in Gaza, Palestine.

Issuing a press statement by General Secretary and Spokesperson Dr Mukul Dhakal, the RSP said the civilian casualties resulting from the ongoing Gaza conflict are a matter of serious and continuing concern to us. “It is disheartening to witness the suffering and loss that so many innocent individuals and families on both sides are enduring as a consequence of this conflict. We convey our deepest condolences to the families of the victims and offer our heartfelt prayers for the swift recovery of those who were injured.”

Further, it said, “In such challenging times, we must remember our shared responsibility to protect the lives and well-being of civilians. Amidst the escalation of violence, we urge parties involved to prioritize the safety and security of civilians above all else.”

The party has hoped the conflict will be  resolved and peace will be established.

A massive blast on Tuesday of October 18, 2023 rocked the Al Ahli Hospital in Gaza City packed with wounded and other Palestinians seeking shelter, killing nearly 500 people. Hamas blamed an Israeli airstrike, while the Israeli military blamed a rocket misfired by other Palestinian militants.
