Kathmandu, Nov 21: ‘Rastra-Pararastra: Ektantradekhi Ganatantrasama ‘, a book of seasoned economist and diplomat Bhekh Bahadur Thapa has been released. Written by journalist Hari Bahadur Thapa, the book is published by Fine Print Nepal.
The book records the contributions, roles and experiences that he gained during his four-decade-long administrative, economic and diplomatic careers in Nepal.
On the book launching ceremony, lawmaker and economist Dr Swarnim Wagle said that the entire Nepalis would benefit from the book.
Likewise, lawmaker Sumana Shrestha said the book was an important document for the present and future generations of Nepal.
Economist Dr Thapa said that the book has covered the important milestones that he witnessed and experienced in his professional life.
Journalist Sudheer Sharma said that Dr Thapa made unparalleled contributions to Nepal’s economic and diplomatic affairs adding that Dr Thapa presented himself loyal to the state instead of the rulers.
Book’s writer and journalist Thapa said that writing of the book started a decade ago but got delayed in publishing due to some reasons.
The book was jointly released by lawmakers Dr Wagle and Shrestha, Dr Thapa, journalist Sharma and writer Thapa amid a programme in the Capital City on Tuesday.
