Nepalgunj: Nepalgunj-based senior journalist Pannalal Gupta has passed away on Wednesday evening.
According to his family members, he was admitted in hospital after he vomited several times. He was 92 years of age.
He was one of the most respected journalist of Nepalgunj and a freedom fighter. ‘We have lost one of our guardian in the field of journalism’, commented Niraj Gautam, former President of Federation of Journalists, Banke Chapter.
He was popular with the title as “Chachaji”. Even in his 90s, he used to ride cycle.
