Shares traded above Rs 9 billion as NEPSE gained by 20 points

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index, which rose by 54 points on Sunday, increased by 20.7 points on Monday. The NEPSE index has increased by double digits for two consecutive days and reached 2759.21 points.

The Sensitive Index, which measures the trading activity of Class A companies, also gained by 4.45 points on Monday. Shares worth over Rs 10 billion were traded on Sunday, while the turnover reached over Rs 9.57 billion on Monday.

Share prices of most companies traded on the Nepal Stock Exchange gained on Monday. The share price of Ruru Hydropower Company, which has been steadily rising since the IPO was listed, has reached Rs 968 per share today due to a positive circuit.

Share prices of 11 companies, including Samata Domestic Microfinance and Radhi Hydropower, increased more than 9 percent on Monday.
