KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress leader Dr Shekhar Koirala and his panel has filed candidacy for the post of party President and other officials today.
According to leaders, Shekhar Koirala filed for the post of President and two leaders, Dr Minendra Rijal and Gagan Thapa, have fielded their candidacy for General Secretary.
Likewise, Dhanraj Gurung and Chandra Bhandari have nominated for the post of Vice-President from the Koirala panel. Similarly, Devraj Chalise, Badri Pandey, Jeevan Pariyar, Bikas Lama, Kamala Pant, Ramrishna Yadav, Tejulal Chaudhary and Wakil Mian have applied for the post of Joint General Secretary.
Earlier, leader Prakashman Singh applied for the post of party’s President. Sujata Koirala fielded for Vice President while Bishwo Prakash Sharma is contesting for General Secretary.
