Pokhara, Dec 26: A Sichuan Airlines flight from Chengdu, the capital of China’s Sichuan Province, landed at Pokhara International Airport today morning.
The flight carried 129 passengers, including players and officials, arriving for the Second International Dragon Boat Race Competition 2024, which is scheduled to take place on Sunday and Monday.
The event is jointly organized by the Gandaki Provincial Government, Pokhara Metropolitan City, the Chinese Embassy in Nepal, and the Nepal Tourism Board, with co-organization by the Nepal Dragon Boat Association, Pokhara Tourism Council, and the Pokhara Overseas Chinese Association.
The competition will feature 20 teams, including 11 from Nepal, 8 from China, and 1 from Singapore. #pokhara #nepal #dragon #boat
