JANAKPURDHAM: State 2 Chief Minister Lal Babu Raut has expanded the Council of Ministers. On Wednesday evening, Chief Minister Raut appointed three people from the Nepali Congress as ministers.
The newly appointed ministers were sworn in by state chief Rajesh Jha Ahiraj on Wednesday night.
The newly appointed ministers are Ram Saroj Yadav at the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure Development, Om Prakash Sharma at the Ministry of Water and Energy Development and Birendra Prasad Singh at the Ministry of Women, Children, Youth and Sports.
After the Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP)’s Upendra Yadav faction sacked four ministers of the Mahantha Thakur-Rajendra Mahato faction from the government, Chief Minister Raut invited Congress lawmakers to the cabinet on Wednesday evening.
