Lalitpur, Jan 4: Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Dhanraj Gurung said the State should adequately protect and incentivize each entrepreneur.
Inaugurating the 7th Annual General Meeting of the Nepal National Federation of Party Palace and Catering Entrepreneurs in Lalitpur on Thursday, Minister Gurung assured that the State would protect the business and entrepreneurs fraternity.
“The State should protect all entrepreneurs. We are committed to ensure protection enabling environment”, he noted, adding, “The government would formulate necessary laws to resolve the problems of business sector”.
Also speaking on the occasion, Chairperson of Lalitpur Chamber of Commerce, Pushpa Ratna Shakya highlighted the need of mutual coordination, collaboration and unity among the entrepreneurs. He called for the government to remove legal hurdles and practical complications towards enabling environment for business operation.
Federation’s senior vice-chair Teweindra Ratna Shakya demanded legal assurance to transform the catering business to a service industry.
Federation’s Laitpur chapter chair Him Kishor Rai said the Social Reform Act, 2033 was irrelevant so it should be repealed.
