Jumla, Oct 26: A motorable steel truss bridge has been constructed over the Tila River in Tila Rural Municipality-1. Following the completion of the bridge, wards 6, 7, 8 and 9 of the Municipality have been connected to the road network.
Janga Bahadur Rokaya, Ward Chair of Tila-6, said that with the bridge in operation, 13 villages in the rural municipality are now connected to the national road network. This will make it easier to transport daily essentials.
The roads in the rural areas of the Ward had become unusable due to the lack of a bridge over the river. Passenger vehicles no longer have to take risky routes, as transportation services will now reach the village. Motilal Rokaya, Chair of Tila Rural Municipality, expressed that this development will greatly benefit local residents.
According to the road division office, the bridge was constructed at a cost of Rs 140 million. It is eight meters wide and 55 meters long. #rss #nepal #bridge #truss
