KATHMANDU: The stock market, which has been corrected by high numbers for four consecutive days, has seen a turnaround on Tuesday. The market, which started declining on last week, has returned to normal on Tuesday.
The NEPSE index, which had gained 79.44 points on Tuesday, stopped at 2913.84 points. This is an increase of 2.80 percent. Today, the Sensitive Index also increased by 16.19 points.
Today, the index of all groups in the market turned green. Investors in finance, development banks and hydropower earned more.
A total of 225 companies traded on Tuesday. Today, it has been traded 112,050 times. A total of 197.73 million shares have been traded from these transaction.
Even when the market declined, the previous two days had witnessed a turnover of over Rs 11 billion, while on Tuesday it had a turnover of Rs 10.28 billion. The prices of about three dozen companies gained at the circuit level on Tuesday. The value of six companies has increased by 10 percent.
Today, the prices of Janaki Finance, Barun Hydropower, Hydro Electricity and Investment Company, Ngadi Group Power Company and Panchakanya Mai Hydro have seen a positive circuit. Today, the reinsurance company has the highest turnover.
