KATHMANDU: The stock market NEPSE index gained by 54.21 points on Sunday. The first trading day of the week, Sunday, NEPSE index reached to 2738.29 points.
Likewise, the NEPSE Sensitive Index of big companies has also increased by 8.64 points and reached 488.14 points.
Today, while the indicators of most companies remain positive, the transaction amount has also increased. According to share market gauge NEPSE, 213,28,882 shares of 214 companies were traded 113,069 times on Sunday, resulting in a maximum turnover of Rs 10.40 billion and Rs 38.79 million.
The shares of Ruru Hydropower Company rose the most, while the shares of other seven companies gained more than 9 percent.
