Kathmandu, July 1: Subhash Chandra Joshi has been appointed as the Executive Director of the Pashupati Area Development Trust.
A meeting of the Pashupati Area Development Governing Council held on Monday under chairmanship of Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Hit Bahadur Tamang, appointed Joshi to the post.
According to the Ministry, Joshi was selected through an open competition. He took the oath of office and secrecy today itself.
Newly appointed ED Joshi expressed commitment to carry out his duties coordinating with all sides concerned.
The executive director was selected through an open competition as per the directive of Minister Tamang. Application was sought on June 5 for the appointment to the post of executive director of the Trust.
