Kathmandu: Test flight has been become successful at Pokhara Regional International Airport.
Yeti Airlines successfully completed its first test flight at the airport today. Sudarshan Bartaula, spokesperson of the airline, informed that the flight took off from the old airport at 2:15 in the afternoon and landed at Pokhara Regional International Airport at 2:27.
“Yeti has completed a test flight today at the country’s third international airport. During the flight, the pilots responded that the airport is technically ready for operation”, he said.
The pilot of the plane, Pramod Raj Gautam, said that technically the airport is of international standard and the landing was also smooth. The airport is going to be operational from the January 1, 2023.
Buddha Air also landed at the airport at 3:06 in the afternoon.
