Suhang Nemwang of UML wins in Ilam by-election



Kathmandu, April 30: The CPN-UML candidate Suhang Nembang has won in Ilam Constituency No. 2 by-election.

While Suhang got 27,772 votes, his nearest rival Nepali Congress candidate Dambar Bahadur Khadka got 21,942 votes.

Similarly,  candidate Dakendra Singh Thegim got 11,457 votes while RSP candidate Milan Limbu got only 5,050 votes.

A total of 69,374 votes were cast in the Ilam elections.

The CPN UML has won both seats of Ilam and Bajhang by-election.
