Supreme Court order to decide on Lal Commission



Kathmandu, Oct 17 : The Supreme Court has issued an order in the name of the Government to decide within three months whether to make the Lal Commission report public.

A joint bench of Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher JB Rana and justice Sapana Mall handed down the decision today.

Accordingly, the apex court has set three months since receiving this order to decide whether the report of the Commission formed to investigate into the incidents that took place during the Madhesh Tharuhat movement should be released to the public.
