Kathmandu, April 13: A team of 12 mountaineers, including Sherpas, climbed Annapurna-I (8,091 metres) on Friday marking the first summit on the peak for spring 2024.

The team reached the summit of the world’s 10th highest mountain at around 12 pm as part of rope fixings, said Thaneswar Guragai, General Manager for Seven Summit Treks (SST), a leading Kathmandu-based trekking and expedition company.
